The mission of the Florida Society of Nephrology is to:
Ensure optimal care for patients with renal disease
Represent the interest of Florida Nephrologists and their
patients with the Medicare Part B Carrier and the State Medicaid Agency about
reimbursement policies, documentation policies and requirements and the trends in
reimbursement.
Advise key state and national government officials,
legislators and other important decision makers in the private sector on health care
policy developments and implementation that may affect the practice of Florida
Nephrologists and the care of their patients
